I loved the way this product embellished my client's 3A, 3B and 3C curls! If you're not familiar with curl patterns, Type 3 hair ranges from loose, buoyant loops to tight, springy corkscrews. These types of curl patterns has lots of sheen, but can be prone to frizziness. Taliah Waajid's Curly Curl Cream added much more shine, control and helped to eliminate most of the frizziness!
How I Used This Product: Hair was washed, conditioned and detangled, with conditioner, at the shampoo bowl. A Leave-In was applied to her hair. I prefer REDKEN Extreme line. Hair was left wet and sectioned in four sections. I further sectioned her hair in smaller sections and used my fingers to evenly distribute and to define, shape and style curls. I opted to NOT comb through her hair to maximize the clumping of her natural curls. Because it's cold here in Michigan, I helped the curls dry faster using a diffuser on my favorite hair dryer.

Ingredients: Water (Aqua), (PEG-75) Shea Butter Glyceride (Butyrospermum Parkii), Glyceryl Stearate, Cetearyl Alcohol, Stearic Acid, Sodium Cocoyl Glucamate, Sodium Polycrylate Ethylhexl Trideceth-6, D&C Caramel 050, Sage Extract (Salvia Officinalis), Caprylyl Glycol Phenoxyethanol, Fragrance (Parfum).
How to Maintain:
I suggest to ALL of my clients to invest in a Satin Bonnet or Scarf, depending on the style. For styles with a lot of volume, I recommend using the bonnet. To refresh the curls, use Aloe Vera Juice in a spray bottle.
Overall Score (1=Worst to 5=Best):
I give this product a 4.8. It's a great product, however, the client called a couple days later because her curls dried out. I like products that can hold moisture in the hair a little longer. This is to be expected for most curly girls in the Type 3 and Type 4 range.
